Picture this...

I was a wedding photographer for 13 years.

One day, about 5 years in, I was photographing a wedding at a venue I had been to many times.

When all of the sudden I realized I was just going through the motions and creating THE SAME photos - just with different people.

I remember it vividly... staring at the back of my camera, with the acute realization that:

These people paid me a of money to show up for them, and the best I can do is replicate what I've done before,. No fresh ideas. Nothing new coming to mind at all.

I felt ashamed.

I felt broken.

I felt like I wasn't doing my work.

I felt burned out.

I came to a HUGE epiphany that day:

I am getting paid not to run a business... not to post on social media... not to have the best website or best gear...

I was getting paid to be CREATIVE.

This realization changed everything.

So I started taking my creativity seriously. I started a protocol that I now call The Resilient Creative Protocol.

It worked.

I started to notice HUGE spikes in my creative vision and my ability to think on the fly. I was creating work that was far and above anything I had created since... AND more than that, we also noticed a difference in the clients, connections, and opportunities that were presented to us.

Everything seems to get better. I felt healthier, faster, and more sharp than I had I years.

I felt magnetic and clear.

But back then, it was just something I did because I cared if I was able to show up or not. If was able to CREATE what I said I could creative when my clients hired me.
